ABOUT
Hi, my name is
Dr. Leon Gillman
I am an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who treats a range of problems of the face, mouth and jaws. I was born in London, England and completed my Bachelors degree in dentistry at the Guys and St. Thomas’ Medical and Dental School in 2000. In 2002 I obtained my MFDS surgical qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

After moving to Israel in 2005, I completed my specialist maxillofacial residency training at the Rabin Medical Centre, Beilinson in 2012, after which I returned to England to complete a one-year surgical fellowship at King’s College Hospital, London, further specialising in orthognathic surgery and the surgical treatment of jaw joint disorders, including arthroscopy and total joint replacement surgery.
Since returning to Israel in 2013, I have been appointed the lead clinician for orthognathic surgery and jaw joint surgery at the Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson.
I manage cases of jaw discrepancy and facial realignment using the latest technology and surgical techniques in order to achieve the best results. I treat cases of jaw joint pain and degeneration with surgical and non-surgical approaches.
In addition, I treat challenging cases of facial trauma, diseases of the jaw and mouth and routinely carry out procedures including bone grafting, biopsies, sinus lifts, wisdom-tooth extraction and insertion of dental implants.
I lecture undergraduate students at Tel Aviv University School of Dentistry, I am a member of the Israeli Dental Association, a member of the Israeli Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
I strive to provide my patients with the highest quality of treatment in a calm and relaxed environment so that each procedure produces the best possible outcome with minimal discomfort to the patient.
I pride myself on taking the time to explain each procedure to my patient in as much detail as they require so that they feel at ease prior to and throughout the treatment and recovery process.
